Savory Cinnamon Shoulder Roast

This roast is one of our family favorites as it comes out of the oven moist and flavorful every time!
Ingredients
- (1) Pork Shoulder Arm Roast
- (1) Large Onion
- (2) Apples
- Olive Oil
- (1 cup) Broth or Water
- (2 tsp) Salt
- (1 tsp) Freshly Cracked Pepper
- (2 tsp) Garlic Powder
- (1 Tbsp) Cinnamon
- (1 Tbsp) Dried Minced Onion
- (1 tsp) Dried Rosemary
- (1 tsp) Ground Sage
- (1/2 tsp) Chili Flakes
Directions
Preheat oven to 425– Roughly chop onion and apples then arrange around pork in roasting pan. Mix spices together in small bowl. Drizzle olive oil over pork, onion and apples– then sprinkle spice mixture over everything. Pour broth on bottom of pan around meat.
Cook at 425 for 20 min, then turn heat down to 300 and cook for additional 4.5 hours, until roast is tender and pulls apart easily with fork. Enjoy!
