Cheesy, stretchy, and bursting with sausage, basil, and cheese! All this deliciousness minus the refined flour and loads of carbs.
- Servings: 2 Pizzas
Ingredients
- (8 Whole) Pasture-Raised Eggs
- (1.5 cups) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- (1/3 cup) Almond Flour
- (1 tsp) Salt
- (1 tsp each) Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano and Basil
- Pizza Sauce
- Mozzarella Cheese for topping
- (1 lb) Pork Sausage
- Fresh Basil leaves
- Additional Toppings of Choice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook your ground pork until browned and cooked through. Add in some salt, pepper, oregano, basil, garlic powder and fennel (opt) to taste.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine your crust ingredients (eggs, shredded mozzarella, almond flour, salt, and seasonings). Mix well! Spread a heaping 1 cup of mixture onto the pan and bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- Once all the crust is baked, turn the oven temperature up to 450 degrees. Add sauce, cheese and other additional toppings to make your pizzas! Bake for another 5 minutes and broil for 2 minutes (optional). Let cool, slice, and enjoy!:)
