Reserve a WHOLE Grass-fed & Grass-finished Black Angus beef today for pick-up fall 2022:
1) Purchase this $500 Deposit for Whole Beef - (This deposit will be applied to your final total, but is non-refundable should you cancel your order).
2) When butchering time approaches, we will contact you to fill out a form with your cut & wrap instructions.
3) Pay Botany Bay Farm the final total of your beef order in the fall.
4) When your beef is ready, we will contact you for pickup here at our farm...and that's it! (2022 beef will be processed September 28th, so expect pickup to be around the last week of October.)
Whole Beef: $7.79/lb hanging weight. Our whole beef weigh an average of 350lb hanging weight. This means if your beef weighs 350lb hanging weight the total cost you would pay would be around $2,725.
Half Beef: $7.99/lb hanging weight. Our half beef weigh an average of 175lb hanging weight. This means if your half beef weighs 175lb hanging weight the total cost you would pay would be $1,400.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What is all-inclusive pricing? This means you pay Botany Bay Farm for the beef based on the hanging weight and there are NO other fees. (The all inclusive price is for the standard cut & wrap; anything priced above that will be added to your final total).
What is Hanging Weight? A term used to describe the total weight of the animal after the skin, innards and blood have been removed. The actual weight of the cuts you will take home will be about 75 to 80% of the total hanging weight.
How much freezer space do I need for half/whole? For a whole beef it is usually 5-6 boxes of meat, which would fill 7-8 standard coolers. So about 10 cu ft of freezer space would be great for a whole beef. For a half beef it is usually 3-4 boxes of meat, which would fill 3-4 standard coolers. So about 7 cu ft of freezer space would be great for a half beef.
