about us

our story

We’re the Sturtevant family, and we started Botany Bay Farm in Brush Prairie to grow food we could feel good about feeding our own family, and share it with yours. We didn’t grow up farming, but we believed animals should be raised outside on real pasture, and that healthy soil produces healthy food. Over time, we built our systems around those values.

The name “Botany Bay” reflects our respect for the natural world and our desire to farm in harmony with it. Today, we raise clean food for hundreds of families across the Pacific Northwest.
